About The Owner
Ben Thompson began working in the pool industry in 2004 while still in high school, helping build pools in Northern Illinois. Those early years were spent working long summer days in the heat, learning the craft from the ground up and developing a deep respect for doing things the right way. Over time, he began taking on repair work, equipment replacements, and weekly service on his own.
Now, more than a decade later, Ben understands how much a backyard pool impacts family life. A pool isn't just equipment and water, it's a meaningful investment and a gathering place where families relax, connect, and create lasting memories. That experience shaped the philosophy behind Hero Pools: care for people well, steward their investment with integrity, and approach pool care with a long-term perspective.
Today, Hero Pools operates with that same mindset, protecting pools through proactive care, maintaining properly balanced water that supports both swimmer comfort and equipment longevity, and helping homeowners enjoy their backyard.
